… was born and raised in Xanten am Niederrhein.
She studied voice at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she graduated with honors.
The mezzo-soprano is the winner of the international competition of the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg, the recipient of scholarships from the City of London and the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, and a master student of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau.
Ingenfeld is at home on the opera stage as well as on the concert podium. She has worked with the directors Barrie Kosky, Andre Engel, Matthias Remus, Ursel Herrmann, Hinrich Horstkotte, and Artiglio DoColonello. She has performed with the conductors Herrmann Max, Nicholas McGegan, Ludger Remy, Lothar Konigs, Olof Bomann, David Crescenzi, Michael Helmrath and Christoph Sandmann, among others, at the Saporro Festival in Japan, at the Israel Festival in Qatar, at the Konzerthaus and with the Philharmonie in Berlin. She has been accompanied by the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Amis de Philippe, the Bremen Philharmonic, the Musikfabrik Köln, and the Brandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
Her first CD was released in June of this year, with a collection of songs on the topic of mothers and daughters; piano accompaniment by Katrin Dasch and Anita Keller. The Deutschlandradio Kultur co-production appears under the German classical record label Dreyer-Gaido.
Her present vocal coach, since 2013, is Sami Kustaloglu.
