We sing to find our inner balance. Singing together is wonderful and great fun. We experience the beauty of music. Even the rehearsals are a joy.
Everyone can sing in our choir. You can also try your hand at singing with us. We are curious about you and want to make you curious about us. Our singers represent many countries and all generations.
We are not professionals. We sing, make music and learn in the process. This begins with voice training and continues in our regular and constant rehearsals. The highlights of our choral work are our subscription concerts in the Philharmonie and the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt. We sing great and popular works. Anyone who has always wanted to sing Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio or Carl Orff's Carmina Burana is in the right place with us. But we also work on new or unknown music, such as the Requiem by Johann Michael Haydn or Âtesh by Alfred Felder.
The Berlin Concert Choir has set itself ambitious goals. Together with our young choirs and the Berlin Concert Orchestra, we want to make our concerts a long-lasting experience for our audiences.
Our conductor, Jan Olberg, challenges us so that we have to surpass ourselves; the secret of our, also very personal, sense of achievement. And this is how we manage to live up to our professional standards. We have developed an extensive, international repertoire that includes works of all classical styles and which we usually perform in Berlin.
We invite you to visit our concerts and perhaps become a member of our Berlin Concert Choir.
