... studied solo piano at Trinity College of Music in London. He has worked extensively with choirs and was Assistant Chorus Master and accompanist with Sydney Philharmonia from 2015 to 2016. He also plays organ and harpsichord and has lived in Germany for 5 years.
From 2019 to 2022 Chris Cartner was répétiteur with conducting duties at the Brandenburg State Theatre Cottbus and since October 2022 he is choir director at the Madrigalchor Kreuzberg.
Since January 2023 he has been working as a freelance musician and supports the Berliner Konzert Chor as a répétiteur.
