... is a pianist and choirmaster of Canadian descent and has been living in Berlin for 5 years. In addition to his main activity as a classical pianist, for which he has won awards and recognition, he has been able to gain extensive experience as a répétiteur and occasionally also as a conductor. In spring 2022 he took over the direction of the church choir of the Golgothakirche in Berlin-Mitte.
Choral music left a deep mark on Ben Cruchley early in his musical development, as he was a soprano in a top-class children's choir in Toronto. After a long detour as a pianist, he is very happy to reintegrate choral music into his practice and has been supporting the Berlin Concert Choir as a répétiteur since January 2023.
